SHIMEJI

I was just casually working on a Kasen Ibaraki sketch this morning with a Shimeji Tenshi on my desktop for moral support. When I was just about done, this is what happened... Who knew she could multiply so quickly like that?...

Anyway, I just recently discovered "Shimeji" through a random browse over on pixiv and thought I'd share it to those who haven't heard of it yet. (It's been around for quite a while apparently.)

Basically, it is a desktop mascot that wonders around the screen, ninja jumping onto any open web browser windows and just generally derping about. The image set is customizable for those who want a particular character. You can find image sets on various places on the web. I'm also thinking about making my own, haha.

This Tenshi image set was created by pixiv artist, Okome, which can be downloaded here: [link] (Japanese site)

Keyword is "okome" (without quotes), press enter, then just hit "Click here to start download."
